Role

Dashboard

It is the heart of the app, which is called up when users open the app. From here, statistics can be viewed, upcoming dishes for the respective day can be called up, and additional content such as articles, recipe recommendations, or quizzes can be accessed.

Weekly plan and recipes

The "Plan" tab contains the recipe library and the weekly plan. Here you can browse for recipes in categories and add them to the weekly plan. Swipe to the right to access the weekly plan. The selected recipes are listed by days and can be moved, deleted or added to free slots.

Shopping list and scanner

If the user adds a recipe to the weekly plan, the required ingredients are automatically saved in the shopping list. This is always accessible via the "List" tab and, together with the scanner for alternative products, forms the third main function of the app. Users have now a reliable partner for shopping.

Usecase 1

Users who are not yet interested and do not understand the problem try to adapt to the lifestyle of friends by changing their diet. These users receive an important overview of the topic during onboarding. This includes factual knowledge, examples and reasons for a change. In addition, they are asked to provide their own information about their current nutritional status. Inboarding then explains how the app can support them. This ensures a good start.

Usecase 2

Interested beginners are looking for a beginner-friendly way to get started and read up on vegetarianism. A change begins with the selection of recipes – a problem for users, because finding recipes can often become a burden. So users can discover recipes in the "Plan" tab, gain new knowledge, filter, search, save and add. To stay motivated and to see the impact, the progress statistics can be used. Likewise, new knowledge can be gained via daily rotating articles and recommendations.

Usecase 3

A busy advanced cook is looking for a supportive and motivating way for everyday life to efficiently plan the week. Through the weekly plan, one can quickly fill his days with recipes and is thus supported and can put his focus on other things. The ingredients for this can be called up in the shopping list while shopping and information and alternative products can be obtained in the supermarket via the scan function. In the dashboard, he then gets access to the dishes that are coming up today.
